We’ll start with a few WhatsApp or Zoom calls so we can get to know each other. Building trust is key when we’re managing your property and budget, so it’s important for us to connect and understand your vision.

Step 2: Discussing ideas and budget

Once we understand your decorating style and budget, we’ll create a personalized inspiration board for you, showcasing the lifestyle you want your property to reflect. Whether you love sleek, modern looks with steel and leather or prefer a more organic feel with woods and natural materials, we’ll tailor the design to suit your taste.

If you prefer a more hands-off approach, we’ll take the lead, using our expertise in the Cape Town vacation rental market to design a space that’s perfect for attracting guests.

STEP 3: Selecting pieces

We  provide a detailed breakdown of every item that will be used to furnish your vacation rental and how much each item actually costs. This level of transparency ensures you know exactly what you’re getting, from furniture and fixtures to décor and accessories.

STEP 4: Putting it together

My team and I  spend the next few weeks ordering all the items we agreed on and organising logistics. If something has sold out since we agreed on it, we’ll give you alternatives to choose from.

STEP 5: D-Day

Finally, everything arrives on an agreed date. My  team is on site to receive, quality check everything and troubleshoot. We unpack everything and place all the items, hang pictures, style the beds, style the tables, unpack the kitchen and style it, put towels in the bathroom… Everything so you’re ready to receive your first guests at your newly furnished airbnb in Cape Town.

Decorating from abroad is a relatively intense  process for you in the beginning, but once the concept is clear and the decisions are made, it’s really very do-able.
